This set of Fawn Taper Candles from British Colour Standard adds warmth and elegance to dining tables and fireplace mantels. Designers Jackie Piper and Victoria Whitbread found inspiration for these fair trade candles in an old color dictionary discovered in an Oxfam thrift shop. As they reestablished the long-forgotten brand, they replicated hues originally logged in the 1930s, including this soft, warm taupe tone. Each candle is hand-poured to ensure rich, solid color throughout, and a crowned base allows it to fit into most holder designs. Made from 100% naturally derived, sustainable Stearin wax, they offer a long, bright and clean burn.
