Mark Krebs Stitch Pebble Rug
Sorry, this product is no longer available.
Handmade in Northern India, the Stitch Pebble Rug draws upon traditional weaving techniques from the nomadic tribes of Persia. Since weavers needed to travel with smaller, portable looms, they often created colorful strips of material to later join together into full-size rugs. For this gray area rug, a modern twist on the approach includes offset panels for an uneven edge and a clean, neutral stripe pattern throughout. Tightly woven with wool and cotton fibers, it’s sufficiently durable for high-traffic areas and placement under tables, chairs and sofas.
- 80% Indian wool (weft), 20% cotton (warp).
- Handwoven in India.

- This rug is constructed from two-foot-wide woven panels laid side by side to form a full-sized rug and varying the configuration based on the size.

- The 8’ x 10’ rug features four panels stitched lengthwise with the two center panels slightly longer than the outer two panels.
