A Letter From Our Co-Founders

Since launching Unison back in 2006, we set out to create the highest quality bedding and textiles through thoughtful design, along with partnering with like-minded designers and brands who shared in our commitment for originality, craftsmanship and sustainability in home furnishings. We strove to build a brand that carried on the legacy of modern design to meet today’s needs.

As an independent design company and retailer, the cost of manufacturing, along with importing our products from Europe and Asia has become a greater challenge this past year. With uncertainty still ahead, we felt it was not healthy to continue operating under these circumstances. Further, we did not want to compromise the level of quality in our products, nor could we justify our retail prices increasing to where it became unattainable for our customers.

Therefore, we have come to the difficult decision to close Unison officially as of May 31, 2026.

While we agonized in our decision to close Unison, we knew we wanted to be transparent and maintain our integrity. It has been an honor for us to build a company from scratch with original product designs and an eye for curating some of the most creative designers and product under one umbrella. Our team has been instrumental with their talent, passion and commitment to have made Unison what it is.

Working to bring good design to our customers at every level of our business is what inspires us every day. It has been rewarding to share our love for design with our team, partners and artists whom we have collaborated with. We still believe that quality over quantity enriches our daily lives, that each piece we have offered is designed to stand alone or work in multiple ways, yet integrate seamlessly into any environment.

Thank you for bringing Unison into your homes these past 20 years. We are grateful to have had this opportunity to create and celebrate timeless design together. Our website will be open until May 5, 2026. We encourage you to partake in this last opportunity to purchase our distinct products while they are still available.

Questions + Answers

What are the details of the Farewell Sale?

Our Farewell Sale will feature markdowns up to 60% off plus free shipping on orders over $100. Prices as marked, no promotion code needed and cannot be combined with other offers. Free shipping will not eligible on orders shipped outside of the continental United States. All orders placed after 4/1/26 are final sale and not eligible for returns, exchanges or refunds.

When is the Unison website closing?

The last day to place orders on our website will be 5/5/26. Aside from fulfilling the remaining orders, we will be ending all customer-facing operations shortly after that date.

What if I need to return my order?

We will accept returns like normal on all orders placed before 4/1/26. After that date, all orders will be final sale and not eligible for returns, exchanges or refunds. Because of this, we are featuring generous promotional offers up until our closure, so our collection can reach as many homes as possible.

What if I have a question on an existing order?

Please contact our Customer Experience Team with any questions or issues as they arise. We will do our best to rectify any product or delivery inquiries before we close operations. Please note that we do not offer a warranty on any of the items we sell. For furniture inquiries, we recommend checking with a local technician or directly with the manufacturer to determine available options for assembly, parts or repair.

Will I still be able to access my online account to review past order details?

Shortly after 5/5/26, you will not be able to access your online account and order history. We recommend printing or downloading any past order information or account details that you would need to reference before that date.

Does Unison offer price matching?

Yes! We are happy offer a one-time price match on in-stock items within 30 days of your original purchase, until 5/5/26. Unison does not match pricing or promotions from other retailers.

What if I have a Unison gift card?

All gift card balances will be valid until our last day of sales on 5/5/26. Please make sure to utilize any gift card by this time, as we are unable to refund credits.

What will happen with my personal information?

As usual, Unison will maintain our existing data security policies throughout the business wind-down. We will keep your personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to provide you with products or services, to carry out legitimate business interests, and where otherwise required or permitted by law. If our customer list is acquired by another company, you will receive an email notification with instructions on how to opt out, if you so choose. Can I still find Unison items elsewhere?

This will vary and be dependent on the individual item and whether the manufacturer sells it through other retailers. We recommend doing a general search online for the name of the product you are interested in to check on availability with other retailers and websites.
