The Hasami Natural Round Bowl brings simple, unadorned beauty to the dinner table. Takuhiro Shinomoto designed this rounded Hasami bowl as a modern interpretation of the traditional Japanese pottery that has been produced in the town of Hasami, Nagasaki for four centuries. Each piece is crafted in Japan using clay, porcelain and crushed stone, resulting in a raw ceramic texture with a warm, natural tone. Ideal for individual portions, it can be nested within the two larger bowl sizes, stacked with other 5.5-inch bowls or paired with 5.5-inch Hasami plates as lids.
